Another recent and noteworthy study successfully treated 16 long time psychophysiological insomniacs, randomly assigning each of them to either SMR training (iMusic SleepTrainer) or Theta training (iMusic BodySleep).

 

It was found that insomniacs who are tense and anxious responded well to Theta training, while those insomniacs who were deeply relaxed but still had sleep difficulties due to mental chatter responded better to SMR training.
